This year, the  April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, a gift from our great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk to the children at METU this year as well, was celebrated in the light of science.

In an event titled 'Curious Kids,' scientific questions from elementary and middle school students were answered through experiments conducted by academicians, including our faculty member Assist. Prof. Dr. Volkan Şahin, as well as undergraduate students from our department.
