As part of the ‘Early Childhood Environmental Education’ course led by Prof. Dr. Refika Olgan, our third-year students visited the Insect Festival School (BÖŞO) at Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture. The visit focused on the role of insects in ecological balance, insect biodiversity, and strategies for overcoming insect phobia. Our students also had the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning through interactive activities. We thank Prof. Dr. Cem Özkan and his students for their hospitality and the valuable information they shared.
